My around the clock local adventure happened by accident. I tried to talk myself out of it without success.

I was to attend a twelve hour overnight Philosophy conference at the Brooklyn Grand Army Plaza Library, followed by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Sunday Service and attend a NYC matinee performance, Could I dare to do this on two successive days without sleep?

I knew that I could do it if I set my mind to it. The conference program was exciting and it got edgier as goers became uninhibited during the early hours of the morning. Singing along with the Tabernacle Choir and meeting fellow parishioners energized me. The innovative show named “Whisper Opera” opened my mind to what is possible to achieve when you set your mind to it.

Skipping a night of sleep gifted me with a slew of exceptional experiences.

Which of your travel experiences left you feeling “I’m glad I did that!
