Recently I had a chance to taste a delicate seven layer cake topped with butter cream frosting named Vinarterta from Iceland. The baker boasts a handed down family recipe and that you won’t taste finer anywhere. It isn’t overly sweet, but has a rich denseness that shouts special. After a moist mouthful, I don’t doubt her claim.

Doing edible trip research before traveling can lead to an opportunity to ask all kinds of questions from the merchant. Or if you are able, acquire a large enough quantity to share samples with your acquaintances who have traveled to the destination of interest to kick start a conversation about their culinary experience.
